The ski resort SKI Makov 700 m (night skiing, artificial snow), ski resort Kasarna 10km, ski resort Oscadnica - Velka Raca (night skiing, artificial snow, a number of ski runs, chair lift) 30 km, cross-country trails nearby. Of well-marked hiking and biking trails in the vicinity, collecting berries and mushrooms in the surrounding woods. Trips to the surroundings: museum of village Kysuce in Nova Bystrice, open-air-museum in Roznov pod Radhostem, Zarubana and Kazická Kycera, Ochodnica, Kysucka upland, water reservoir Hricov, trips to the Mala Fatra, Kysucke and Oravske Beskydy mountains. Surrounding cities: Makov, Turzovka, Bytca, Zilina, Povazska Bystrica, Kysucké Nové Mesto.
